i should have warmed up my dinner before taking a shower. i'm stuck with salad tonight. load shedding continues...ok, the power just came back on. wow, that only lasted 10 minutes. for those of you interested in reading more about the power struggles-

Welcome to life in the non-Western world! That's why we buy the big camping lanterns that have a rechargeable battery and leave them plugged in all the time until the power outage and leave our laptops plugged in all the time!
