Oasis

I went with my friend Chris (from Canada) to a children's home called Oasis last night. Was really looking forward to playing with these kids and to just give them hugs and receive hugs. Chris worked there for a total of 1 1/2 years full-time a couple years back so know these kids really well. Most of these kids are orphaned and have never known the idea of what a mommy and daddy are. But, they seem to be doing well and were all smiles when we got there. The reality though is that this type of stuff happens everywhere and there are people who need love everywhere. A good reminder for me to keep those who are poor and orphaned in my prayers.
